Can I send this as a gift?
Of course! This makes a great gift. During checkout, please use the gift receivers shipping address.
Does Standard Cocoa take recommendations?
Yes. We want to hear from you. What would this be without your engagement and interaction? From ideas about featured chocolate makers you’d love to see, to additional features...we’d love to hear!
What will I receive each month?
You'll receive 3 bars of unique chocolate every month. The exact bar sizes vary as every chocolate maker creates their own custom product. Also, you'll occasionally receive additional discounts to specific chocolate makers and more information on how their chocolate is produced.
I have certain dietary restrictions. Can Standard Cocoa accommodate my needs?
Currently we're not able to accommodate specific dietary restrictions. As we continue to grow, this is something we'll definitely keep in mind.
When does Standard Cocoa ship chocolate to subscribers?
We ship within 48 business hours of order placement. You can expect to receive your chocolate within several business days.
Who We Are
What about shipping to hot zones?
Do you live in a part of the United States that’s always hot? We do our best to make sure the chocolate arrives in tip-top shape with our protective packaging. However, if you live in an area with super warm temperatures, there is a possibility that the chocolate may arrive slightly melted. If this happens, please contact us.
Is shipping free?
Yes. It’s included in the monthly price. All you pay is your subscription fee and that's it. What a steal!
Do you ship internationally?
No. Currently we're focused on distribution throughout the United States. We still love all of our international fans and hope to be able to ship to you in the future.
How do you ship your monthly packages?
Currently, we ship all our packages via FedEx, meaning it will get to your home within several days of shipment. All chocolate is wrapped in protective insulated bubble wrap and comes packaged with an ice pack during the warmer months. This keeps the chocolate nice and fresh!
What is the difference between subscription packages?
We have three different subscription packages. Our first package is a monthly package, where you will receive our craft chocolate package one time, with NO automatic recurring payments. Our second selection is the 3-month package. You pay up front for 3 months of delivery at a discounted price. Once
you've received the 3 packages, your subscription is over and you'll need to sign up again.
How does check-out work?
On the subscribe page, after choosing your subscription package, you’ll be linked to our PayPal.com checkout page. PayPal, which is owned by eBay.com, is a secure payment processor. You'll be instructed to either pay with your credit card or with your PayPal account. After payment, you’ll be brought back to StandardCocoa.com and will receive an e-mail confirmation of your payment shortly.
Does Standard Cocoa store payment information?
Nope. PayPal handles all of our payment processing. All we see is your name and shipping address. Everything is 100% secure through PayPal.
Can I cancel my monthly subscription?
If you're signed up for the monthly subscription package, you can cancel at any time by emailing us at . We’ll send you a confirmation of your cancellation. If you've already been billed for the given month, you will still receive your final shipment.
Note: billing takes place on the monthly anniversary of your first payment.
Can I cancel my 3-month subscription?
Unfortunately you can't. You've already been billed for this in advance. However, the subscription can be transferred to somebody else.
Will I find out ahead of time what's coming in my box?
Nope. We like to keep things a surprise, otherwise where would the fun be? We're big fans of future product requests so feel free to let us know your thoughts.
